Dana and I received word yesterday of the passing of one of our dearest cruising friends. Dr. Lloyd Tinkle passed away two days short of his 102nd birthday. For the second time now Seven Seas Navigator has returned to St. Maarten this winter season. The Island has become the second St. Thomas drawing boatloads of cruisers weekly. A few nights ago we gave our guests a Christmas surprise. We had loaded the Christmas decorations on board SEVEN SEAS NAVIGATOR in Ft. Luaderdale on November 28th and stored them away to way for just the right moment - one hour back on the clock! On that night at 11:00pm we held a shipwide decorating party. Veteran’s Day was, as expected, very special! Being able to lend a hand to Rico’s Café as they served up over 500 meals to local vets was an honor! Dana and I want to be a part of this whenever we are home on that holiday; however, next year we’re scheduled to be away.
