V Cruisers, I took an hour off to climb the hill of Monte Carlo. Now, when I say the “hill” I do mean the hill and NOT the “mountain.” Right next to our ship is a path and even an elevator that will take you up to the Monte Carlo Aquarium – which I have seen before and is definitely worth seeing. On this sunny day we are docked in Civitavecchia, Italy - the gateway to Rome, but we are far from alone. There is a whopping 9 cruise ships in port today. Just for fun I went on line and did a little research and math.
